CP Rail Strike Could Add to Supply Chain Woes
Global pandemic, decades-long inflation highs, unprecedented floods, war in Ukraine, sky-high gas prices.
Apparently that’s not really enough bad news to supply chains, so let’s throw in a railway strike!
Canadian Pacific Railway (C.P. Rail) workers, Canada’s second largest railway, is at risk of going on strike – potentially causing even more headaches to supply chains in Canada and the US – in addition to all the above.
Hold on to your hats everyone, this is going to be an even bumpier ride.
UPDATE: After we wrote this up, it looks like a strike has been avoided by CP Rail workers. Finally some good news for supply chains.
