South Korean Robot-Maker Debuts with a Splash

Speaking of robots, South Korean robot-maker, Doosan Robotics, debuted on the market jumping up 127%.

Doosan’s collaborative-robots are designed to work alongside humans. The robots can perform tasks such as poor beer and coffee and work great in cafes and bars (where it’s been hard to recruit and retain staff).


Canada Wants to Produce Your EV Battery

Canada has been trying to attract manufacturers around the world to build battery plants in the country luring them in with incentives.

The latest one being Swedish EV battery-maker, Northvolt. Northvolt has signed an agreement to build a battery-plant in Quebec, near Montreal. The deal is worth an estimate $7b.

Northvolt has deals to supply EV batteries to BMW and Volkswagen.
