At two of the busiest ports in Western Canada, Port of Vancouver and Prince Rupert, workers at these ports are potentially going on strike soon over wages.

Both ports handle over $350b in goods annually.


UPS At Risk of Strikes

Speaking of strikes, UPS workers are at risk of going on strike if they don’t reach a new agreement by 31st July.

To manage the strike risk, senders are already sending orders to rivals Fedex and DHL to ensure fulfillment doesn’t get disrupted.
